The Hospital Cave is a hospital built into a cave on Cat Ba Island. It couldn’t be seen from the air or the ground making it a safe haven during the American War. It was abandoned after 1975, but now it is a popular tourist attraction on the island. It is build in to three levels and contains 17 rooms and even a small swimming pool. The photo below was taken at a viewpoint at the hospital.
