This recipe is super quick to make, full of flavour and low calorie. I make a big batch of this and freeze it for an even quicker dinner option.
Ingredients
400g tin of chopped tomatoes 1 glass of white wine 1 Onion, finely chopped 2 cloves of garlic 1 vegetable oxo cube, crushed 2 tsp Marmite 5-6 basil leaves
Method
Heat a frying pan to medium heat. Finely chop the garlic and onion, and fry for 5 minutes. Crumble the oxo cube over the onion, add the tomatoes and glass of wine. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes until reduced. Stir in the Marmite. Tear the basil leaves and mix into the sauce. Stir through your chosen cooked pasta and serve.
